A Unique Case-Based Urology Conference

Challenge Urocon is a dynamic 2-day conference designed to showcase the most challenging and thought-provoking cases in Urology encountered by clinicians across their careers. The focus is not just on success—but on decision-making, complications, and learning from real-world experiences.


The conference will cover six key subspecialties in Urology:

Endourology
Uro-Oncology
Reconstructive Urology
Transplant
Laparoscopy & Robotics
Paediatric Urology
“Highlighting the most challenging urological cases faced by clinicians and institutions in their lifetime.”

Call for Papers

Submissions are invited from across India and globally

International authors can participate:

  • In-person
  • Through an Indian co-presenter
  • Online

Previously published or presented cases are also eligible

Presentation Format

Each selected case will follow a structured 10-minute presentation, covering:

Background of the case

The key challenge(s) involved

How the challenge was managed

Supporting or opposing literature

Lessons learned:

  • What went right
  • What went wrong
  • What could have been done differently

Discussion Format

    Followed by 10 minutes of interactive discussion & Q/A

    Mandatory inclusion of:

    • Clinical images
    • Radiology/imaging films
    • Surgical videos (if applicable)

Evaluation & Judging

A jury of ~10 eminent Urologists from India will evaluate presentations based on:

Clinical Merit: Is the case truly challenging?

Presentation Quality: Use of images, videos, clarity

Clinical Approach: Appropriateness of management

Delegates will participate in live voting via electronic voting systems

Awards & Recognition

  • 🏆 Best Paper
  • 🥈 Runner-Up
  • 🏅 Category Winners (6 Subspecialties)

The final winner will be selected as the Best Presentation Across All Categories, based on combined jury scoring.
